Dr. Irma Gavaldon
Dr. Irma Gavaldon has been studying, teaching, and performing dentistry for over the past 30 years. Her specialties are in complex restorative cases, full mouth restorations, implant rehabilitation, smile makeovers, as well as cosmetic restorations. Has never once had any history of board sanctions or malpractice, this is a reflection of the work that we provide here at Ocean Dental.
Dr. Irma Gavaldon is a graduate from the Universidad Autónoma de Mexico (U.N.A.M) recognized as one of the best universities in Latin America. She continued her education in the U.S, where she obtained her Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Michigan. Which is ranked amongst the top 3 dental schools in the U.S.
At this very same university she went on to become a professor to 3rd year dental students in the Advanced Dentistry Program. While in Michigan she ran an Out reach program in Travers City for migrant workers who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to receive dental care.
She has gone through all rigorous tests and examinations to earn her U.S Board certification License in the states of Michigan and California. Is also licensed to perform dentistry throughout Mexico.
Dr. Irma Gavaldon keeps up to date on new dental technologies and techniques by going to advanced learning courses.
Helping out:
Dr. Gavaldon ran the Out Reach Community Program in Traverse City, Michigan providing Dental Work to immigrants working at the farms, helping more that 400 patients get the care they needed. Currently in Cancun Dr. Irma Gavaldon dedicates some of her time providing free dental care to locals with very low income.
